We visit Thaifoon every time we're in Cape Town for business (sometimes twice in one week!) and have never been disappointed. The food is amazing and the service very friendly and efficient. We would recommend this to anyone who loves good Thai food!

I celebrated my birthday with family and friends at Thaipoon last night. What a pleasant surprise the food was! The head Chef, a lovely lady by the name of Lamyai, explained every dish to us which made the experience even more special. The Beef with Basil was difinitely my favourite main dish.

The owner give your experience a personal touch by visiting each table and even sit down with some his guests (there seem to be quite some patrons).

I will surely go again and will recommend your restaurant to friends and family.

Went there for the first time after reading reviews and was not disappointed. Great food, great service, generous portions. Extended Thai menu that will cover all tastes. Really enjoyed the evening with very personal and friendly service. Had the duck which is highly recommended. Will definitely return.

Having visited Thailand on many occasions, I was looking for a very authentic Thai experience when trying out THaifoon for the first time. I was pleasantly surprised as this is exactly what we got. Great food, great atmosphere and great time.

My fiancé and I went to Thaifoon to celebrate our anniversary. We each had the Penang curry, he had the chicken and I had the duck, served with steamed rice. Absolutely delicious! The richness of the duck and the exotic litchi made a wonderful combination of flavours!

I tried the sago pudding for dessert and once again the unexpected mix of coconut milk, litchi and sweet corn with the sago was a taste sensation.

It was a spur of the moment decision to have dinner here and we were pleasantly surprised. The food really was amazing especially our spinach cone starter (which in one of my favourites) Will definitely return and highly recommend Thaifoon, the service is also phenomenal.
