Always greeted by friendly staff, everyone is calm and relaxed and the food is fresh and unique. Perfect for Sunday lunch away from the hustle and bustle from city living.

Happy to have discovered a lovely new spot outdoors for the kids which also offers good quality food.
Definitely spreading the news.

David & Helen Swanepoel 30th birthday party

What a wonderful place located in beautiful surroundings. Good food and helpful and pleasant staff - very interactive & organised. A truly country experience just 20 minutes from the busyness of life - restored spirit after watching a beautiful sunset with family & friends. Going back for sure. A lovely drive for a family Sunday lunch out or brunch with friends. They excel at making you feel special...so worth the drive out there. I just absolutely love this place.

Anniversary lunch

We were taken to Something Country for an anniversary lunch by very special friends. Well not only did we have special friends (good company) but we also had special and very delicious food. SO nice to get out of the city...we will be back!

Women's Day lunch

Our first visit today to Something Country. We were looking for a place outside the city hustle and bustle, and came across this restaurant on-line. We were pleasantly surprised with the variety of dishes on offer, the very personal service (the owner Mike came over to greet and welcome us), and the overall ambience. Overall a very good experience and excellent value - keep it up - we will be back.

21st Birthday

Had my nieces 21st birthday breakfast at Something Country. The food was excellent and the staff were all very helpful and friendly. The only downside was the ton of cyclist who were there and who made a lot of noise. Otherwise a love place, will surely come again.

Breakfast

Popped in for breakfast which was scrumptious on Saturday, 7th April and topped up with a wonderful service, a waitress by the name Amanda. Keep it up Amanda, we will sure come through again! Beautiful smile she has!

On the 16th March, 2012 we have a lovely evening to celebrate my husband's 60th Birthday at Something Country. Food excellent and staff all very helpful and wanting to please. A good night was had by all.

I discovered this place at the baby expo as they have really great kids furniture to decorate your child's room. We decided to check out the actual venue as we received a pamphlet at the expo. If you looking for a family restaurant this is the place. It's a bit far the drive coming from Johannesburg, but its all worth it in the end. Really lovely place, friendly staff and the have always been helpful.
