Breakfast at 1682 is a great way to start the day in the Cape - a real treat in superb surroundings. Had the Eggs Benedict and wasn't disappointed, although I am a bit of a traditionalist when it comes to the slice of bacon. Juicy and thick, it was, and a change is as good as a holiday. You could opt for the berries and yoghurt - or a number of other choices... Delicious bread, fantastic coffee, and if you feel like a bit of a wine tasting, its all there on the premises and you will probably leave with a few bottles or cases depending on your budget.
Will definitely go back again and recommend highly. Great place to take visitors.
