5 years back two of our friends introduced us to this restaurant. Now we have introduced more than 50 other couples. Pancho's have become an Reunion tradition for all our friends far away and a romantic getaway after a very busy month of grafting. This restaurant is SO down to earth, you get great value for money AND the food tastes FABULOUS! We know what were gonna eat and drink before we go! Usually we end up taking the mains home :-) We luv u Pancho's

On the 30th September my son asked us to take him to Panchos for his 18th birthday dinner. First time in all my life living in Cape Town that I have ever been to Panchos. All I can say is, wish I had heard about you sooner. Superb Food, Brilliant, Vibey atmosphere, Excellent service and Great value for money! One of Cape Town’s best kept secrets...I am even thinking about having my 40th here.

I was at Pancho's for the very first time last night for my friends 24th birthday. We booked for 8 on a busy Saturday night but when we arrived with the one extra they made a plan with out even hesitating! .. The starter platters are some of the best I've had and will have one every time i go back.. there is so much to eat one doesn't really need mains!! ( I took almost my entire mains course home!!!)

The margaritas can be potent, but who's complaining!

A definite destination for a fun social night out with friends!! i will be back and soon!!

I was referred by a friendling months ago. I kind of thought it would be a dodgy place, waiters with as much oil in their hair as there would be on the plate, but boy, was I wrong!

The food is absolutely, beautifully presented, the prices on the menu are low enough to give you a BEEEEEEEG appetite and the service... you'd swear you were back at your mama's house!

Planning to go back for my 30th B'day. Can't Wait :)

Pancho's is amazing. It may not all be authentic Mexican food, but it is deeeeelicious and the poppers and margaritas are great! I used to go there all the time after work. Ah the good ol' days. It's usually pretty crowded so you have to make reservations ahead of time or sit at the bar. Either way you will go home happy. Especially if you get Margaritas to go in plastic liter bottles!

My bf surprised me by taking me to Panchos on Vday, and it was awesome. The food was divine and the atmosphere was vibey and comfortable. We even started chatting to the people behind us, and became friends. I would def tell everyone that it is a must to eat at Panchos :)

Since i was a teenager, Panchos has provided consistently excellent food and service. I was sorry to see them take away the top section of the restaurant a couple of years ago, but it is still the same good food, great vibe and wonderful place to go out and eat and relax. Highly recommended and always a winner.

We eat at Poncho's 4 - 5 times a year and have always enjoyed an amazing meal and the ambience is great. Last visit was with family and had a table of 12. Everyone raved about it and the Margaritas, we'll the Margaritas............. what can we say............ Great food, great menu, great service. Is there another Mexican restaurant? I think not. Well done Pancho's

I’ve heard many wonderful things about Poncho’s from family members and decided to visit them for my birthday. The atmosphere is extremely rustic and very chilled. The menu is so hard to choose from if you aren’t accustomed to Mexican cuisine. I eventually ended up ordering the platter for two and I was completely blown away. Everything about it was perfect; every bite leaves you wanting more. It’s so good that I’ve started having intense cravings for it in the middle of the day. Their drinks are extremely unique and very delicious. I will defiantly be going back very soon.

On Saturday my friend made a reservation for 10 of us at Panchos. the setting is Rustic the food is absolutely AWSOME...i am definately going back there...never before have i tasted Nachos chips that good wow im dyinig to go there again...well done Panchos i have officailly become a regular customer.

Went to Ponchos on 03/10/10 for the first time. The eight layer dip with nachos was fantastic for an appetizer, However, we should not have ordered it cause the mains were HUGE! Had to bring most of it home with us in a take home bag. Loved that they offered Becks beer and the Mojitos were superb! Price was good too. Service was great. Will definitely be going back! Parking in the area is crazy so go early.

I have been in the restaurant trade for several years & Panchos is 1 of the best restuarants I have been @ ever. The food - service & atmosphere is just awesome. It seems that whenever we go there it just gets better & better. I have been & will keep informing everyone I know about Panchos - a big well done & 2 thumbs up. Awesome stuff.

was in Panchos on Thurs 26/08/10......my SA girlfriend brought me...i had heard so much about it and about the food and the chilli poppers...was not disappointed...the margarita's were superb and food portions tops. Will defo be heading again when we are back at xmas......keep up the great work.
Price was very reasonable and service excellant. Thanks for a great night

The food was fantastic, so so tasty :-) Their pricing is great too... The portions were so big, that everyone at our table took doggy bags home. We shared the food, so I got to taste 4 people's meals and I enjoyed absolutely everything I tasted. We will be going back very very very soon... Like tomorrow evening :-)

I had the best restaurant experience at Pancho's. There is a definite social vide and the place has character. The Margaritas (we had the mixed jugs) and chili poppers were amazing and I couldn't even finish the huge portion of Nachos. I would recommend the restaurant to anyone who is looking for a great evening out with friends or just looking to try something new. They will definitely see me again and I know it will be soon.

Definitely more for the young, or young at heart, Ponchos buzzes with packed tables and a fun atmosphere. Offering one of the biggest Mexican menus I have ever seen one will find all the old favourites such as Nachos/fajitas and then some interesting new options too. Margaritas are served in big brightly painted jugs filled to the brim! Sit back and enjoy! This place is great fun!
