Had my brother in laws 16th birthday dinner at Green Mango tonight. Best restaurant in Durban! Food was amazing, service was great. Friendly & helpful staff which is so hard to come across these days. Thank you guys will definitely be back.

The food was awesome.The service was great, the ambiance was stunning. I felt so relaxed in the restaurant. The food took me to a Asian village where the people greet me with a smile and so accommodating.

As the name would suggest that there is something definitely potent about this dish, I was speechless after trying it...literally speechless. Indians commonly being lovers of spicy food I thought I could handle this but it was way too hot and killed absolutely all flavour of duck. Advice to chef: reconsider the extent of anger you put into that duck. Sushi and tempura was great....really fresh fish. Wish I never met that angry duck and my visit to the green mango would have been pleasantly memorable.

It seems that others also know of the good food and value on offer here. We tried the earlier suggestion of Tom Yung soup, followed by sushi, and were not disappointed. The soup was amazing, and the platter for 2 would have been more than enough even without the soup. The service was good throughout, even though it became quite busy. The only time we felt neglected was when it was time to pay the bill.

We took my mom to this restaurant for lunch for her birthday and we're pleasantly surprised by the wonderful service and even better food! WOW! It was an amazing experience and will definitely go back there any day! To top it off it is so reasonable! Highly recommended! P.S - have the prawn tempura! It’s amazing!

I think it is one of the very best restaurants in Durban But I am boring as I have the Tom Yung Soup and Sushi whenever I go :)

Sebastian's has recently changed hands and the change is for the good!!
There are reductions in price on certain menu choices and the friendly atmosphere makes us wanting to go back which we did not want in the past.
