I love the vibe in the courtyard which brings about a sense of tranquility and peacefulness.
That said, the mango Daiquiri I ordered was amazing!!!
I wanted to try out the scallops, but unfortunately there weren't any available, which was quite a damper.
Ended up having the Camembert which was delicious
My partner had the fish cakes and it was just as delightful.
All in all, good vibe and tasty food

A really fantastic location in the Constantia Winelands. The people and service was attentive and efficient. Drinks before in the bar were very relaxing. A little craft beer - nice. The food was terrific - I had the Sirloin with Béarnaise sauce - it was excellent. The local Constantia Shiraz was superb and served at the right temperature. All in all - well worth the visit. Well done guys.

Pastis Brasserie in High Constantia has definitely returned as one of Cape Town’s top relaxed eating destinations. The ambiance is fantastic, service relaxed and smooth and the food is tasty and consistent. the menu has a number of signature dishes and there is also a great number of specials to choose from which on well displayed on a number of blackboards. The wine-list is well selected and diverse with plenty to choose by the glass and the management guy and girl team are on top of their game. I really recommend that you give Pastis a go this winter.

We enjoyed a really good meal at Pastis recently - along with a warm cosy fireside setting on a cold winters night and friendly, efficient service. The fillet served with mash, steamed green beans and pepper sauce was one of the best I have enjoyed in a while.

This is a beautiful restaurant in the Constantia winelands with French brasserie-inspired decor and menu. Lots of local favourites. Excellent service, great food. Love it. And the fireplace in winter is magnifique.
