Possibly some of the best meals ever to be had here. Wonderful ambiance and friendly service. Full of locals...need I say more?

Well worth a visit. An institution in Sea Point. Old style family Italian restaurant. Beaded curtain at the door; large murals of Italian scenes, simplistic and old worldly feel; great food and affordable!

We came here regularly during my childhood as my father adored the food cooked by 'mama' who would come out of the kitchen to greet us. I now bring my own children here to enjoy the well priced, homestyle Italian cooking with crisp, fresh ingredients. The interior can be somewhat dark as there are no windows, but I am surprised this restaurant is not more popular. I hope more people give it a try so it can be around for another 60 years and I can bring my grandchildren here for Sunday night dinner..
