I recently visited Port Elizabeth (my Hometown!) and had several meals at The Verandah at The Beach Hotel. The food was excellent and so was the service. The open sandwiches are divine (and so for the rest of the menu!). The decor is modern classic with comfortable chairs and a view of the pier and the ocean. I rate them no less than 10/10. While you in PE, visit Ginger Restaurant (at same hotel). The decor is stunning (loved the mirror!) and the food is 5 star world class. Compliments to the Chefs... well done to all!
