Have been many times and never dissapointed. Oxtail is the best I have ever tasted next to Moms of course. All their meals are good, well appointed and tasty. The wines are also very reasonable per bottle. A perfect place and beautiful setting for outside lunches.

It was a cold rainy day and we couldn't have found a more perfect venue. The ambience was so cosy and the fireplace just added that farmhouse feel. My sister who has been to the restaurant many times made various suggestions. Three of us opted for the mutton curry except my husband who chose the venison pie. The curry was delicious, the mutton like butter the vegetables were too were delicious (loved the pumpkin). My husband gave the pie a thumbs up. We had apple crepes for desert - a must! Bread - wholewheat or raisin was homemade and a small freebie salad was served to each person as a starter. Folk purchase loaves of bread to take home - to make sure they get their bread they order on making a reservation. Really a most enjoyable luncheon.
