The food is to die for and the service is friendly and prompt. The price of the food and wine is really reasonable. I travel all over SA, Europe, Britain & America and I can honestly say that Le Petit is world class. My wife loved the old fashioned warm ambiance. I hope that the people of East London realise what a gem they have there. The little pub (I think it's called the Grishca) inside Le Petit is a real treat. What a great menu, what an experience, not to be missed!

Everything was great an absolutely fabulous Restaurant. I will be returning there this evening and I am sure the service/food will be just as excellent.

I had the best steak ever at Le Petit. The Jalapeno fillet is to die for. The service was good, the brand new menu even better, and the ambiance warm and inviting. We regularly visit Le Petit for the famous Buffalo steaks, but boy is the Jalapeno steak good. Congratulations to the owners who has improved an already good recipe over the last 5 years. We heard that Le Petit was chosen as one of the 5 best old school restaurants in SA by the Sunday Times. Well, they certainly get my vote as number one!

I've recently been to Le Petit and the experience was excellent, I would recommend to anyone in the East London area.
