We're not sure of which fish will be available until the boat gets in, but there will be whole fish and fillets, fresh not frozen, locally caught under license, using traditional line fishing methods with no trawling or netting in sight Purchase your dinner by weight - our lovely ladies cook the fish (pan fried, battered and fried, Thai style) and you help yourself to the salad and veg buffet. Address
Heron Loop Drive Chinta East East London Directions Directions: Two routes are available after driving out of East London along the North East Expressway or from Johannesburg and the north on the N6. The most direct route is to take the N2 as for Umtata and Wild Coast , turning right after about 25 km at the sign Chintsa Mouth. Proceed along this (Schafli loop road), past the left turn to Tainton until you come to the signs left for Chintsa East, Cefani Mouth, Xanadu etc. This tarred road will take you to a low bridge and thereafter 4 km of new tarred road to the village. The turn to Country Bumpkin is the first right as you come into the village. From East London it takes between 30 and 40 minutes depending on speed and traffic. The alternative route is by the East Coast Resorts' Road, onto the lower end of Schafli Road until the signs for Chintsa East where the turn is to the right. |
