Description: Kitchen Windows is located at the ideal beach front location in the surfing hot-spot of Jeffreys Bay. The restaurant is hidden away from all the traffic and noise, but still in centre of town on the blue flag main beach, with the best reality show in front of you with dolphins, whales, surfers and fisherman.

Decorated with warm terracotta floor tiles, home style d�cor, and a glass wall looking out over the ocean, Kitchen Windows allows you to experience the rustic beauty of the ocean.

The restaurant boasts a delectable a la carte menu unquestionably the absolute favourite with the locals. The favourite with the locals are the Kingklip Waleska, baked in a wood burning oven, smothered in a sauce of white wine, garlic, fish stock and a trio of cheeses baked on top. Chicken and Prawn Butter Curry, probably some of the best steaks in the country and the perfect ending with one of the brilliant home made deserts.

(Adventurousness: I wish i had married a celebrity chef!)

Comments: I have been coming to J-Bay for over 30 years now as we own various property in this area. This year, 2011, I was pleasantly surprised when my wife and I were looking for a restaurant where the kids could play and I could enjoy a good meal with value for money and as a smoker, have a smoke. What are my options I ask myself? Spur - that's about all? That is until i came across what might easily be one of the best restaurants in South Africa! I was received with friendliness and the food was of the best quality i have ever had. The staff were brilliant, making sure that we had enough drinks at all times. The view, well, that place is basically on the beach with the best view of the sea. I will recommend this place to everyone!
