Description:
Our concept is based on the authentic Mozambican "Barraca" which, in English means "hut". In Mozambique - in a home or on the street - eating, drinking and chilling is a way of life. A way of life that is captured in a "Barraca". No frills, some spills, only simplicity - this Mo-Zam-Bik. Exceptionally flavoured food and a good vibe. An education to live and let live. So that's what we have created - a chill-zone reminiscent of hot sunshine, white sands, prawns and beer.
Welcome to our Barraca.

What a super evening!, 04 Dec 2009
Reviewer: G (Adventurousness: I wish i had married a celebrity chef!)

Comments: Had our annual management dinner at Restaurant. First time for all of us and did not disappointed. From entering the restaurant and being met by our friendly waiter Brena, right through to dessert, one surprise and delight after the other. Lots of different flavours, all good, nice vibe, we all felt like dancing! We will all be back. Special compliments to Brena, he made the evening special.

Reviewer: Terry (Adventurousness: What is the chef's special today?)

Comments: This was an amazing experience, the service is outstanding, the food is amazing and the decor very, very authentic, I would defiantly recommend this restaurant to anyone, the only suggestion I have is to bring in live music of some kind, preferably something lounge like with a Mozambican feel to it.
