Description:
Funtastico has an extensive, all-encompassing menu, with a large variety of pizzas, pasta's as well as a selection of continental meat and exotic fish dishes. Everything on the menu is delectably and passionately prepared by the chef patron who intermittently swirls through the restaurant, wine in hand, to ensure his guests are being well looked after. This great convivial atmosphere lends itself to any occasion - romantic dinner, business luncheon, parties and other functions. They also have a much loved take-away facility.
Whether dining indoors or on the covered patio, this bistro promises one a great evening out. Funtastico

Funtastico really is a bit of a fantasy, our walls are entirely covered with Dieter's memorobilia (nautical, air travel, and drink). And it certainly is fun! The visual onslaught is completed by fanciful chandeliers, a dresser packed with interesting porcelain, ship's wheels and bells, and even Alipine cow bells. Funtastico has the flavour of a bustling European country restaurant run by an inkeeper's super-competent family.

We are in the process of building a smoking section.

Please note that Sunday lunch is no longer applicable, we can accomodate functions and special occasions on sundays for reservations that exceed 25 patrons.

A must visit!, 07 May 2011
Reviewer: Rissiepit (Adventurousness: I can't pronounce it, but i'll eat it!)

Comments: I was told to have the 'pint of prawns' at Funtastico. It's not on the menu, but it's divine! A pint glass beer mug filled with prawns and sauce - and the glass keeps the prawns hot all the way down! Their duck, baked in the pizza oven is to die for!!!! The ambience is out of this world - cosy, lots of memorabilia to look at. They have a rhubarb-and-apple crumble that's out of this world!!! Many people are not aware of this little gem - book in advance for dinner to experience the magic!
