Description: Set in the tranquil gardens of Norscot Manor in the heart of Fourways, The Secret Garden offers a quiet escape from the malls and roadside coffee shops. It is a great venue for a leisurely family breakfast, superb Sunday lunch, or delicious afternoon tea.

Relax on the terrace overlooking the manicured lawns and distant views, whilst the children amuse themselves in the impressive play park, which is guaranteed to give parents a much needed break for an hour or so! Holiday fun, jumping castles, soccer goals, bring your kids to play while you relax and enjoy a taste of Africa!!! If you are looking for an outdoor venue to host a special breakfast, Stork tea or a pamper (hens) party, design a menu to suit your occasion as well as your budget.

The main menu focuses on breakfasts and light meals with a good selection of salads, burgers and sandwiches. There is also a well planned children's menu. The Secret Garden also offers picnics on the lawn for those who prefer more secluded dining, so bring a blanket and pick your spot. For a traditional afternoon tea, freshly baked cakes, scones, muffins and a selection of sandwiches are always available.

(Adventurousness: What is the chef's special today?)

Comments: We have visited this restaurant twice so far, having just found it. It looks like it is going to be our Sunday breakfast venue for a long time as on each occasion we have been pleased with the service etc. The fact that it is children friendly and outdoors makes it a must for families.
