When it comes to Indian restaurants in Gauteng, Karma stands out as the best. Karma was first launched in 2000 with contemporary Indian Cuisine in mind. Taking a traditional cuisine and giving it a contemporary twist - hence our promise - "fab food reincarnated". The classic Indian Cuisine has been adapted to the Western palate with a fusion of flavours, sensuality of texture, vivid colours, pungent aromas and tingling tastes that demand attention, even concentration.

KARMA NEWS

1 of 16 Top Restaurants in Gauteng selected to Participate in the
Taste of Joburg

Scrumptious Karma food such as the Chicken Tikka Masala, 3 Nut Curry and Tantric Prawns will be available to taste.

As well, Karma, in association with Spekko will have a stand where demos will be done throughout the day on how to cook delicious meals at home.

Karma offers an extensive choice of its Karma?s trademark North Indian dishes, with curries that are more fragrant than they are fiery and complementary dishes that tease the palate. The menu includes delicious haloumi samoosas, the ever-popular vindaloo for those who like a kick, paneer tikka masala (an exciting cottage cheese concoction) and a range of chicken and lamb tandoori dishes, always better with steaming rice and naan bread. House specialities include Karma Korma, delicious and succulent pieces of chicken, lamb, prawn or vegetable, cooked in a velvety cashew nut and cream sauce.

Voted the best Indian restaurant for 7 years (five consecutive years in the Leisusre Options Best of Joburg Readers? Choice Awards & 2 years in the Fleur de Cap) and an award winning staff complement, including a chef nominated as one of the top five chefs in the Top Billing lifestyle Momentum Awards, Karma is an experience that one must not miss. Building on the success of it original Greenside location, Karma has expanded to Fourways.

When you visit Karma, you will be immediately welcomed with the décor of simplicity yet elegance with swirls of rich browns and deep reds. Buddha statues grace the presence as well as the soft sounds of Buddha bar playing in the background which creates a calming ambiance. The aroma is a combination of the Indian spices and incenses which seduces and teases your senses with anticipation of the meal.
