Emil Faber and Johann Strauss's business partnership led them to re-open and re-design the old Mezza Luna restaurant, and turn this venue into a chic, stylish fine dining lounge, called Melon. The cuisine is French based, and from the fresh oysters, salads, soups and pastas, to the delicious tender steaks, roast pork belly and tiger prawns, the food is out of this world. Melon is romantic and cosy, comprising of 65 seats, divided into 5 areas: The main dining area with a huge bar, a stage with a lounge feel, the outside smoking area, the atrium with a cosy fireplace and the private dining area, with its own bar that can easily be converted into a conference room. Colourful and refreshing cocktails set the tone for sexy dining, and delicious desserts complete this awesome experience. The chocolate fondant is a must. The wine list is varied and well priced.
