Description: The Doppio Zero (translates to 00) Familigia began 5 years ago and has since become on of the most popular eateries in Johannesburg. Doppio Zero Rosebank is the forth addition to the group and is proving very successful. The shop opened in September 2006 and has had fantastic support from all who visit. The guests range from business people to families and everything in between. You are most welcome to come for breakfast, lunch or dinner, coffee or cocktails - don't forget the amazing breads and croissants fresh from our bakery. Doppio is quickly becoming known for it's unique and creamy gelato with flavors such as mascarpone, biscotti and Donatella (you have to taste it to find out what's in it). Rosebank offers you a touch of the European and a relaxed experience which should definitely brighten your day. There are different areas to suit your mood, the 'cafe' section has a comfy lounge area with a fantastic view of the freshly prepared cakes and biscuits. In the morning you can watch as the bakers bring out the warm breads and in the evening you can sit and relax with a glass of wine with friends. The restaurant area offers a hint of glamour with suede seating and parquet flooring, the grand lighting and decorative pillars offer the guest something original and at least one thing to talk about. If you enjoy a cosmopolitan vibe, the Doppio Deck will be for you, with quite possibly the tallest palm trees you have ever seen and with a cool breeze at 5pm on a friday afternoon it really makes for an escape from city life, but you have to be here to believe it. Doppio offers a great variety from the bakery, gelato, wood fire pizza oven and a kitchen headed up by a fantastic executive chef. Whatever you are in the mood for we can offer, the menu has a strong continental / European influence which complements the atmosphere.
