Description:
Café Maude is conveniently located in the heart of Sandton. With a distinct French flair in both design and menu it offers diners the opportunity to eat informally, reasonably and tastefully! The Cafe itself is stylish with a bar complete with chrome counter, a contemporary Parisian-style Bistro and a continental tea-lounge all under one roof. An outdoor terraced area adds to the pavements-style eating experience of a Paris Cafe.

Here you will find a fabulous wine and food selection for both the discerning food lover and the business person on the go. The menu, which is updated every 2 months or so to add variety to your dining experience, also offers the famous “tasting trees” (for 2 people) which consist of a selection of seasonal menu items available in either vegetarian, country-style or seafood options. The African Crayfish and Karoo Lamb are sourced locally, Escargot Bourguignone and Duck are imported. The Salmon is flown in from Scotland and San Daniele Ham from Italy along with the Porcini from Europe. Therefore ensuring only the best ingredients!

The dynamic team is led by Chef de Cuisine Petrus Bestbier who has worked extensively in French Cuisine Nationally and abroad. Michel Beyls is Southern Sun's Culinary Advisor a former two-star Michelin Chef with 45 years international experience and Christophe-Bruno Marzaile who is equally knowledgeable in heritage and culinary traditions of France and Italy and whose travels have taken him to just about every continent, will be guides on this culinary adventure.

Cafe Maude also supports our environment, by taking part in a high end fashion and décor Eco-project. All Menu's are made of recycled polyvinyl chloride (PVC ) billboard skins, these are locally produced and aim to raise awareness about Eco-friendly living!
