Restaurant description

The Gourmet Garage is the new and exciting first of its kind concept in Johannesburg. The old fashion burger is undoubtedly the undisputed culinary champion of the world. It has been around since the 14th century, and promises to be around for a long time yet. Over three bollion burgers are eaten in America. The burger is creeping back into menus of restaurant for the same reason that made so popular in the first place. It is sublime yet unfussy meal. It has only a few simple ingredients, but the some is much greater than the parts.

The menu is predominantly burger (250 gr of pure beef), but does cater for in terms of vegetarians, chicken, rib, and chop lovers. There's also a section of designer burger including lamb, ostrich, and salmon burgers.

The atmosphere is relaxed yet energetic and nostalgic music of the 70's, 80's pumps out till late in the evening. With the outside deck, private dining rooms, and a great bar with awesome selection of beers-bottle and on tap, the Gourmet Garage has something for everyone.

The Gourmet Garage also specializes in large parties, and offers set menus accordingly.

We are open lunch and dinner 7 days a week, and although not essential, booking is recommended.
