Description:
Situated on 21 acres of natural farmland in the heart of the Cradle of Humankind, Gauteng's best kept secret awaits. An old farmhouse majestically refurbished to display and utilize a collection of antique tables, chairs, candlesticks, silver, bronze statues, crystal and glass.

Three separate but linked dining rooms make up the dining area with every table individually decorated with flower and fruit arrangements complimenting the abundant flower displays throughout the restaurant. The restaurant has a romantic old-world charm in a unique country baroque setting.

Cuisine is by Chef Patron Errol Gobey with a full a-la-carte offering complimented by daily specials suited for a wide variety of both local and international tastes.

Bellgables has achieved numerous awards since starting out and includes amongst others: Best Country Restaurant, Best Overall Restaurant in the FNB Premier Card Fine Dining Restaurant Awards, American Express Platinum Card Fine Dining Programme 2000-2007, Fleur Du Cap Restaurant Week Fine Dining and Gourmet Category Winner 2002-2003, Diners Club International 'Wine List of the Year' Merit, Gold & Platinum Award 2006. On Beyers Naude Drive: Proceed toward Honeydew / Muldersdrift area, crossing over N14 motorway (Krugersdorp / Pretoria). Continue for a further 6 km's after the N14 motorway. Signboard and turnoff to left of Beyers Naude Drive. **Also use signposts for Heia Safari / Garden Lodge / Ekudeni, situated on same road.

From N14 motorway: Access through 'Randburg / Zwartkop' on-ramp to Beyers Naude Drive. At top of bridge turn right into Beyers Naude Drive (towards Zwartkop) and proceed straight for 6 kms. Sigboard & turn-off to the left. **Also use signposts for Heia Safari / Garden Lodge / Ekudeni, situated on same road.

Comments: We went for a birthday celebration. What an experience! The place took my breath away as I loved the antique collection and the way the place is decorated. Each table was a masterpiece! From arrival to departure the service was superb! The food was magnificent and we will definitely be back.

Comments: A wonderful experience and amazing food. The ambience is over the top and quite brilliant. The welcome is superb and the menu sublime. Lunch or dinner it is a great meal.
