Description: Titolino’ s in Kyalami has been around for seven years and established itself as the preferred venue for businesses for corporate lunches and parties, while accommodating the families in the evenings and the weekends being the first restaurant in the neighbourhood where the kids could make their own pizzas. Having taken back by the original owners two years ago it has got a major revamp which transformed the favourite local trattoria to something equally relaxed but much more contemporary and sophisticated. Bold patterned wallpapers, black crystal chandeliers, White leather clad armchairs, comfortable sofas around the free standing fireplace set the tone. What stayed is old favourites and comfort Food at its best, generous portions, huge selection of starters, salads, pizzas, pastas, chicken, duck, steaks, lamb, fish and seafood. What is added interesting combinations like Norwegian salmon on a bed of fettuccine basil pesto, tiger prawns in mushroom cream and brandy or steak with chocolate, chillies and black cherries. On the Pizza side you can expect taste sensations like prawns & pears & brie or smoked chicken&apricot, or roasted lamb & fresh mint pizza next to your well known combinations. The wine list is as extensive as the as the menu allowing to have a simple Pizza or Pasta dinner for two with a bottle of wine for as little as R140, but you can crack a bottle of French champagne when you have something to celebrate. The venue is available for private or corporate functions and can seat 160 people or can. The layout with the huge balcony allows privacy for smaller or bigger parties and set menu options are available in meze style where eating becomes a feast and is very sociable. |
