Food was excellent!, 16 Mar 2012
Reviewer: anonymous (Adventurousness: What is the chef's special today?)

Comments: We were at Cynthia's Indigo Moon on 11 March 2012. Many interesting items on the menu. The one thing I love about the place is that they have some venison/game options. I had the wild boar, my wife had the fillet with berry sauce. Both were excellent! One of the chef's specials was wildebeest which was very tempting - but I love wild boar so I couldn't resist.

The service was also very good. Definitely a fine dining restaurant.

I guess the only other things worth noting:

Firstly - There are not many options for vegetarians on the menu. I personally don't mind since I am not vegetarian, but we have some vegetarians in our circle of friends and I would have loved to take some friends to this place - which will now make it slightly less favourable choice.

Secondly - the different pieces of decor in the restaurant seem a bit disjointed. A lot of branding of different drinks/alcohol products through-out the restaurant make the place seem a little less classy than it actually is.

I will definitely be back - next time I will try the duck l'orange.
