Description: Established in 2004 by Durbanite, Sunitha Jaimungal, Little Durban Foods caters for the unique food cravings of those inclined to Durban Indian food. Situated at the corner of Dey and Bronkhorst streets in the tranquil suburb of Brooklyn the restaurant can seat sixty people, forty on the inside and twenty on the stoep. Famous for its flavourful cuisine it has grown in popularity and provides an alternative to North and South Indian cuisine in Pretoria. The mixing of the masalas and spices to the cooking style provides a strong South African Indian influence which can be evidenced in the various delectable curries, breyanis, roti rolls, shwarmas etc. All the items on the menu are also available for take-away. If you fancy the flavours you can purchase a mixture of the spices and masalas to try your hand at preparing any of your favourite dishes. Platters can also be ordered for functions at home or at the office. If you are looking for something different and finger licking good, this is it. |
