Description: This iconic bar and restaurant is just the place to cool your heels after a long work week. The wine list is impressive, and the venue is warm and understated. Twenty odd years ago,four people had a dream. The dream came true when Hillside Tavern opened it's doors in October 1989. Since then this popular restaurant has been one of Pretoria's favourite meeting places for local customers and international tourist alike. The dream did not stop there, and twice Hillside Tavern was awarded the "Golden T-Bone Award" for the best Grill House in South Africa.
