Description: If fish is your thing, this is the place! Its authentic on all levels and has that old-time Mediterranean philosophy behind it where everything is done to show off the beauty of the fish. Any fish fanatic will go mad for the various combos at extremely affordable prices. If you’re looking for quality you can’t go wrong with LM in the East. Lunchtimes are less hectic, but the evenings are packed out, and it’s easy to see why. This is one of those places from way back which has held on to all it’s core values. The customer is King, and what LM tries to do is keep everyone happy. It shows in the comfy interiors, and a menu that reaches wide, yet doesn’t stretch itself. The service is impeccable but not too fussy. The wide variety on the menu makes it difficult to choose where to start. A firm favourite is the LM Mussels in creamy white wine sauce or the traditional Trinchado in a herb and red wine sauce. Meat dishes on offer vary from decadent Lamb Cutlets to tender Fillet Steak and Baby Chicken flame grilled in lemon or peri-peri butter. Then there are the prawns! Choose from the spread of combos that include Rump & Prawns, succulent Calamari & Prawns or the Hake, Calamari & Prawns. Or just have a plate of prawns with all the trimmings. As a bonus they boast a clay oven for their outstanding pizzas, if something fast is your fancy for the meal. To end of your meal try their Waldorf Gateau, a decadent ice cream chocolate and nut cake. LM in the East's wine list offers a complete selection of red, white and local sparkling wines. You’re not going to find anything better at this price without compromising quality. It’s one of those places that will not leave you hugely out of pocket and you’ll leave totally satisfied. |
