Description: Rhapsody’s Menlyn is one of those restaurants with a very interesting layout. Firstly there is outside seating available on both sides of the restaurant, so depending on the time of day and where the sun is, you can be sure that al fresco dining at Rhapsody’s will indeed be a relaxed and enjoyable occasion. The spacious interior has a semi-circular central bar surrounded by various dining areas where one has the opportunity to enjoy a quiet romantic dinner in an intimate corner, or celebrate a special birthday occasion with family and friends. The décor is exciting and eye-catching with bold use of colour which contrasts perfectly with the white table linen and well appointed tables. Rhapsody’s is an excellent choice for that all important business lunch where impeccable staff are on hand to help you choose from 75 specially selected wines (25 of which are also served by the glass). In the evenings the restaurant takes on a completely different look. Glamour and sophistication reign supreme as the unusual hi-tech ceiling and bar area are both dramatically highlighted by clever lighting. An impressive cocktail menu has all the favourites and more, with daring martinis, exotic fruity combinations and lethal shooters (which are definitely not for the feint hearted). Enjoy pre-dinner drinks at the bar and then settle down at your table to enjoy an unforgettable dining experience. The starter specialties include Salmon Won Ton Stacks, and trendy salads such as the Pesto Chicken with sun-dried tomatoes and camembert. Main course recommendations are the Avo and Brie Fillet or the Jalapeno Rump. For those with a penchant for something a little spicy try the Bacon wrapped Chicken Breast stuffed with jalapeno peppers and topped with a sweet chilli sauce, or the Prawn Curry in a creamy coconut sauce. |
