Description:
The Pot and Kettle has been in existence since 1995, and is well known for its home style cooking and breath taking views of the Valley of 1000 Hills. Situated on the Comrades Marathon Route, nearly half way between Pietermaritzburg and Durban, it is a convenient half way meeting point for family and friends.

The Pot and Kettle is fully licensed and offers its venue for functions after hours for weddings, birthdays and corporate functions. A separate private room for meetings or small private birthday parties, mini team building meetings is also available.

Our menu covers a wide range, of breakfasts, snacks and lunches. Our cakes are all home baked. We have a kiddies menu. On Sundays we offer a carvery, which consists of homemade soup, salads, 2 roasts, vegetables, and desserts for R98 per person. Bookings are essential.

There is ample inside seating on cold days and lovely tranquil garden areas for the sunny days. A jungle gym area is available for the children to play.

Another addition to the Pot and Kettle is the new Sports Bar, iBeshu Sports Bar, with a big screen for all sport viewing. Friday night is braai night, so come grab a braai pack, salads, and rolls for only R45 per person.

Directions
From Durban : Travel along M13, take the R103/Hillcrest/Old Main road off ramp. turn right at robot. travel through Hillcrest, up Botha's Hill. Pass Kearsney College, through CBD of Botha's Hill, then pass Dunrobin Nursery and travel for 800m. The Pot and Kettle will be on your right.

From Pietermaritzburg: Travel along the N3 to Durban, take Assagay/Shongweni/Hillcrest off ramp, turn left into Kassier road. Go until you get to robots, Old Main Road, turn left and go up Botha's Hill. Then follow directions as above.

Comments: Visited your restaurant on the above mentioned date and wanted to mention that we had a fantastic time. The ambiance was so serene and the food was delicious!

This was my 2nd visit but for my Boyfriend it was his first. He thoroughly enjoyed it and as usual the View is SPECTACULAR! Keep up the good service.

Will definitely visit again.
