Owner, manager and sushi extraordinaire, Albert Liu created the Bamboo Sushi Lounge brand in 2009 and has never looked back!

Combining his passion for sushi with his love of people, Albert has grown the brand into 2 stores since then and has visions to open stores all over the country. Albert believes in creating a space where sushi innovation, enjoyment and delight work in harmony - his stores personify this.

Focusing heavily on the local community, Bamboo Sushi Lounge has its roots deeply in the Umhlanga and Durban culture and is all about pleasing its customers. It is the place to get great sushi, friendly service and a chilled vibe.
