Description: This Durban North eatery has all the usual menu items you'd expect from a Chinese restaurant, but a few traditional items including deep fried broccoli and brinjal in a spicy sauce, salty duck or barbeque pork belly. Don't forget the fried ice cream at the end. It's a casual place with indoor and outdoor seating available, and guarded parking is available. The atmosphere is created by a happy buzz of diners.

Comments: Everything was very yummy, from starters to the yummy-deep-fried-ice-cream! Mains � very, very tasty, we went with waiters recommendations. Was a very good choice all-around. Service was good & ambiance simple but great. Definitely coming back for more�of everything!

Comments: We have tried many Chinese take outs and restaurants, but keep coming back time and again to the China Plate. Each time family from overseas visit, the head off to the China Plate. Owner and Staff always pleasant, and nothing is ever too much trouble for them. To the Kitchen staff as well, they do a wonderful job, with the food preparation and presentation.
