Description: Green Valley Restaurant, located in Tyger Valley Centre’s Stuttafords store, specializes in delicious and healthy home-cooked style meals, with a South African influence. This spacious, self-service restaurant is family-owned and operated and changes its menu on a daily basis. The casual dining experience offers seating in an enclosed courtyard garden-style area and diners can enjoy the sound of the water feature as well as soothing background music, while enjoying the traditional cuisine. Green Valley Restaurant offers a variety of Light Meals (Beef Lasagna, Bobotie, various Curries, Cottage Pie), Grill Specials (Fish & Chips, Meat Balls, Sausages & Mash, Pumpkin Fritters), Toasted Treats and Open Sandwiches, a selection of Breakfasts (which are served all day) and a Carvery or Meal of the Day as well as a large selection of double layer freshly baked cakes, and “hot-out-of-the-oven” muffins and sweet or savory scones, for tea time. The variety of meals are prepared daily on the premises and are available buffet style at exceptionally affordable prices. Patrons are able to select a meal from the buffet, thus eliminating the time that it takes to place an order and wait for the meal to be served. Additionally there are no service fees. The All Day Breakfasts are served with toast, jam and butter and coffee or tea except for the Health Breakfast which is served with either a muffin or a scone, jam & butter. All the light Meals are served with a selection of fresh vegetables or salads, while the Carvery and the Meal of the Day include rice and a selection of five vegetables or salads, or a combination, as well as a pudding, normally served with custard. For the health conscious there is a Cold Counter with a freshly prepared selection of Open Sandwiches, tubs of yoghurt, and a variety of fresh salads, which may be combined with vegetables. The vegetables and salads may be eaten on their own or combined with one of the Light Meals, Grill Specials or Toasted Treats. The restaurant specializes in catering for healthy take-away meals, the provision of a superb selection of platters for catering off the premises or the co-ordination of corporate and social breakfasts, functions or workshops.
