Description: Cape Townians can now enjoy the hearty goodness of Karoo meat at Karoo Cattle and Land's latest branch at Eden on the Bay.

The decor is trendy, with black Cobra-polished wall finishings, large glass doors and windows, plus heavy leather chair and booth seating. Best view in the house is from the balcony; serendipitously, there's an enormous tongue-in-check sculpture of half a belly-up cow - perky udder and paws failing wildly - outside the venue.

Karoo knows its meat: extra-large steaks and full racks of ribs for larger appetites, bobotie, pies, boerewors, and chicken. Side dishes include chips, baked potato, vegetables and onion rings. There's also a salad buffet with a variety of salads which you can have for free if you buy a main course. Kids can eat selected items on offer at half price. Dessert is �lekker South African� malva pudding, jelly and custard and tipsy tart. Karoo also opens for breakfast. If you prefer to cook your meat at home they also sell a range of well matured products.

Directions
From Cape Town, travel along the Marine Drive (R27), and then turn left into Otto Du Plessis Drive (M14). Continue along Otto Du Plessis until you reach the second traffic circle. Seaside Village should be on your right and Eden on the Bay will be on your left.
