Description:
A place to see and be seen. One of Cape Town's landmark restaurants where beautiful people from all over the globe flock to experience the excellent cuisine and breathtaking views of Camps Bay.

The summer season brings with it a refreshing new menu.

With a clean canvas, it is the Chef’s gift to create art. In this regard, the eccentric energy of Executive Chef Morne Botha pours out onto the menu, as he creates the dishes that have inspired him. Possessing a strong flair for his South African heritage, enhanced with his natural flamboyance and an ability to entertain, both in person and on the plate.

This new energy has invigorated the Legacy of Blues’ iconic Mediterranean brand and turned the restaurant into a space where it is not simply the view of Camps Bay that inspires, but also the view of the magnificent workings of the open plan Kitchen.

The new menu encompasses, "modifications of Blues classics to shrug off their ‘winter warmth’,(that) have been married with new creations that resonate Morne’s drive for creativity with the owners’ brief of ‘simple satisfaction’. The result, quality ingredients that do the legwork, finished with the flair and excitement that only Chef Morne can bring"

You can enjoy a classic cocktail or a Blues signature whilst watching the sunset from the best location on the strip! The interior of Blues has been updated to reflect a relaxed spirit. The décor reflects the laid back attitude we wish patrons to feel when they enter Blues. The designer has created a chic interior with dedicated areas where a variety of different experiences can be shared, yet which flow effortlessly into one another.

Whatever might tempt you from the menu, you'll feast on the sensational views and drink deeply from the signature sunsets that have always been synonymous with Blues.

Head chef: Morne Botha

Signature dish: Springbok Loin
This is a Signature of Morne Botha and will appear on any of his menu's wherever you may find him.

The dish is a tender Springbok loin rolled in Thyme and Black Pepper and grilled to MR. The Venison is accompanied by Sweet Potato mash and a velvety Amarula Sauce and Gooseberry compote that reflect the chef's inclination to all things sweet.
