Successfully run by Eddy and crew, The Bayside Café has been trading since 01 Oct 1989.This popular establishment has a strong local and international following who appreciate the consistent good, food quality, and service.

The spacious interior, which is spread over two floors of this gracious building, of more than 75 years old, attributed with a timeless feel and decor. The first floor has spectacular uninterrupted sea views. Crisp white tablecloths, comfortable upholstered chairs add to the ambience, strategic splashes of colour and attractive arched windows complimented by natural stone on walls, wooden, tiled and carpeted floors, complete the sophisticated look throughout the restaurant.

Popular for breakfasts especially on weekends and during holidays, the restaurant has shaded out-side tables, to make the most of good weather days and the warm summer months. The breakfast menu is impressive with a selection that includes; African; English; Fluffy Omlette; Flap Jack Stack and a Great French toast.

Light lunches the menu offers; Tappas, Great Burgers, Sandwiches and a good selection of fresh crisp Salads amongst other delectable items.

Well known for their Excellent Ribs, Steaks and Awesome Seafood, the menu also features Good Curries and Pasta’s. It is noteworthy that Vegetarian diners are well catered for, with choices that include Malay vegetable curry and other great dishes.

A Special menu for junior diners always available.

Catering for Special Birthday Functions; Anniversaries; Small Weddings; Group Bookings and Business Lunches with Personalized Set menus can also be arranged.

The Wine list is a multiple "Diners Club Platinum" award winner featuring an excellent array to choose from. Great Food and wine paring can easily be achieved by the available selection.

Comments: Had the pleasure of eating again at this well known establishment. Tasty food, friendly staff and location amazing. The winter special is still good value, considering there are a few new terms. In our party of 4, we had 2 meals discounted 100%...really good value for the locals! Will be back soon!

Comments: We were at Bayside for late lunch today and will return soon. The schnitzels were delicious and very good cappuccino.
