Minato is one of the most authentic sushi bars in Cape Town. Opened in 1996, it's owned by a family from Hong-Kong who decided to settle in South Africa in the 1990s. The service was quick, the wine was great - highly recommend the Rickety Bridge wines (both red & white) on their menu... with food prices that reasonable, I'm perfectly happy to support them by buying their wine. I had the Miso Soup to start which was yummy and refreshing, and then for my main course I had the Sweet Hot Kiss Rolls which were to DIE FOR!!! I am going back next week, and am going to make it a monthly thing!"
