Description:
Café Mozart, surrounded by art galleries, antiquaries and clothing shops is situated just off Long Street, and offers the perfect place for regulars and tourists alike to relax and take in the sights and sounds of Cape Town. Run and owned by Chef Tom Kelley of London, this trendy and artsy Café has an incredibly pleasant atmosphere, with an interior that has a French Bistro flair to it and outdoors you will find tables surrounded by a shaded walkway with street performers out and about all while sitting under an umbrella watching the world pass you by.

The Café has been around for more than thirty years and is very well known. Once used as a theatre by many a performer the history of this little Café is still intact with the stage still in existence! Now more modernized and up to date, upstairs you will find the “coffee house” where you can sit and work or just relax on their deep-set leather sofas with a coffee and make use of their Wi-Fi access.

The food at the Café is Classic with a bit of flair, such as the breakfasts which cater for all: the hungry, the healthy and vegetarian. There are great lunch offerings every day such as the Rosemary roast chicken in olive oil mayonnaise sandwich, and the smoked chicken, cottage cheese, peppadew and basil croissant. There are also daily specials at fantastic prices like the great “tea for two” consisting of a pot of loose leaf tea, served in elegant silver teapots with a selection of gourmet finger sandwiches and delicious dessert.
