Description: There are many elements to be savoured within the Five Flies; from the bare brick wall afternoon wine bar to the interior cobbled courtyard serving casual lunch and dinners, private dining rooms all apportioned with their own individual flair and the sumptuous cigar bar and lounge upstairs.

The cuisine is innovative, flavoursome and surprising. The energy created by the staff is contagious, and the attention to detail welcomed.

Comments: Dined there recently, setting, ambience and vibe is great. Food fantastic albeit a bit on the pricey side. Staff all great, informative, very well briefed by chef and attentive.

Comments: Our party of 8 took advantage of the special being run before xmas and must say that we had a super time. Fine food, interesting ambiance with a buzz and vibe of fun.
Situated in the heart of the Cape's legal and financial district is this beguiling restaurant. It sounds stuffy and pretentious but is anything but.
Really worth a visit
