La Colombe achieved an impressive 12th place in the San Pellegrino 50 Best Restaurants of the World Awards 2010, clinched the Acqua Panna Best Restaurant in Africa and Middle East Award and was winner of both Chef of the Year and Restaurant of the Year in the Prudential Eat Out Awards 2008, and again honoured with the prestigious Restaurant of the Year title in 2009. La Colombe has also achieved the highest three star rating in both the 2009 and 2010 issues of the acclaimed Rossouw’s Restaurants guide.

As from September 2010, Scot Kirton has taken over as Head Chef and Manager. His approach has been confident and swift, not only maintaining the standards of one of the finest restaurants in the world, but steering each to significantly new heights. Patrons of La Colombe have revelled in Scot’s delivery of classic signature dishes and his endless array of sublime new inspirations that now form the mainstay of La Colombe’s new À la Carte menu.

Directions from Cape Town(+- 20 minutes)

Take the M3 out of the City towards Muizenberg on either Eastern Boulevard or De Waal Drive
At Hospital Bend take the M3 to Muizenberg
Follow the M3, passing UCT on your right, for about 9km
Travel on the M3 until the Ladies Mile off-ramp (off-ramp after Kendal Road)
At the traffic lights turn left into Ladies Mile
At the next set of traffic lights turn left in Spaanschemat River Road
Pass Peddlars On The Bend on right hand side
Pass signage to Buitenverwachting and Klein Constantia on right hand side
Approximately 2.5km on you will see Constantia Uitsig sign-posted on the right hand side
Pass the Constantia Uitsig Cricket Entrance and continue to the second entrance on your right hand side and follow directions to La Colombe

Comments: Had a wonderful evening - amazing food. Would love to eat here more often. In my opinion one of the few restaurants that live up to their reputation.

Comments: Undoubtedly one of the best restaurants you will dine at. The food is fantastic - an amazing infusion of tastes and flavours, and the service is excellent as well. Definitely a restaurant you have to experience at least once. Highly recommended.
