Description: Situated at The Village Lodge Cape Town B&B in De Waterkant, our restaurant "SOHO" brings the cosmopolitan style of London to the heart of Cape Town.

Our intimate Cape Town Restaurant, is well renowned for serving some of the best caf� breakfasts in the Mother City.

Enjoy the sumptuous scrambles egg on toast with smoked salmon and caviar accompanied by a glass of champagne, or for the diet conscious why not try the forest berries with yoghurt.

Lunch and dinner at our Cape Town Thai Restaurant Soho is another world apart serving authentic Thai cuisine from Chang Mai and Bangkok in the fully air-conditioned chic restaurant or on the roof-top pool bar with unrivalled views of the Mother City.

Sample traditional dishes such as Tom yum koong (a spicy hot & sour soup served with prawn, mushroom, lemon grass and coriander) or Kaeng kiew wahn (green curry cooked with coconut milk, fresh herbs & Thai aubergines). Alternatively experience a northern Thai speciality such as larb (a spicy salad of minced pork, chicken or beef with spring onion, mint and lime sauce) accompanied by stick rice, not for the faint hearted but truly delicious. Our extensive wine list includes some of the best South African wines and imported French champagnes.

Directions
It will take you approx 30 minutes to drive. Take the N2 motorway and follow signs for Cape Town. After 18km follow M6 to Waterfront & C.T.I.C.C - this highway runs between the harbour and city. First set of traffic lights go straight across - C.T.I.C.C. will be on your left and V&A Waterfront is signposted to the right; you are now on Buitengracht Street. Second set of traffic lights go straight across - Sea Point is signposted to the right, get into right hand lane. Third set of traffic lights turn right into Somerset Road - drive straight passing a BP Garage on your right. Take the next left into Napier Street - "Bronx Bar" is on the corner. In De Waterkant, drive up Napier Street and 100 metres on the left is our main guest house "the village lodge" and "Soho Restaurant". First left into Waterkant Street is our "village lodge reception" and "Jajo design" shop.
