This "one stop" concept comprises of two gastro-bistro Restaurants, Whiskey Bar, Cocktail Lounge, Morroccan Tent, Patisserie corner and exclusive Boutique. After two years of renovations the Victorian heritage house in Cape Town opened its doors to an elegant setting with each room designed to express a different feel and mood including dinner and dancing on selected evenings. The menu offers French cuisine with a South African twist. Head Chef Renald Epie skillfully merges classic French techniques with local ingredients to create complex yet subtle flavours. Understudy to Ducasse in France for seven years, he masterfully offers each guest a culinary sensation. The Whisky Bar offers a selection of forty-seven whiskies to be savoured in a relaxing Hemingway inspired interior. Twenty-one private boxes are available to store personal bottles of whisky and cognac. The Cocktail Lounge & Bar is a sexy, seductive setting perfect for socialites to enjoy one of Café Chic’s signature and champagne cocktails mixed by the expert bartenders. The Moroccan chill-out tent it a unique venue with a more intimate group of friends. Cocktails and tapas are served late into the night while guests laze back on lush velvet couches.
