Description: Please note that the Cape Colony restaurant is closed for renovations reopening with a brand new décor and menu in November. In the meantime dinner will be served in the Lord Nelson Room. ******************************************** The Cape Colony Restaurant is a fitting spot for a celebratory supper, a romantic dinner for two, or a feel-good treat any night of the week, traditional elegance and modern glamour combine effortlessly at this culinary hotspot. The menu at Cape Colony restaurant is as unique and creative as its distinctive setting. Dramatic vaulted ceilings, a vibrant trompe l’ouille mural, and a sparkling crystal chandelier set the scene for a menu reflective of Mount Nelson Hotel’s culinary heritage – a combination of classical and contemporary cuisine that takes inspiration from Eastern Europe, Asia and Africa. Our Chef de Cuisine and his team ensure that every dish showcases the best of the Cape’s seasonal produce and ingredients, in a style that is inventive, delicious and surprisingly affordable. An award-winning wine list complements the sumptuous cuisine, and attentive service complements the refined setting. Head chef: Rudi Liebenberg |
