Description: Beluga restaurant began life in 1999 as a French-styled fine dining restaurant to immediate acclaim by being voted one of the top 60 restaurants in the world. Our menu started off small and very French, with loads of French terms and jus and so forth. In 2006 we decided it was time to reinvent Beluga, and over the next few years we made some really great changes. We added sushi to our new menu, which we expanded and began redeveloping around three times a year. Over time we had to increase our seating from 120 to 400 seats. We have served princes, presidents, sport stars, Man United as well as whole hoast of celebrity chefs, singers and actors. We’re also blessed with an amazing following of regular guests, without whom we would never be where we are today. Beluga has evolved into a one of a kind restaurant. We employ at team of 150 staff members, serve 1.8million pieces of sushi and over 4000 mojitos to around 225, 000 guests each year. Our food ranges from a full dim sum and sushi menu, to seafood, steak and Asian-inspired dishes. Beluga is more than a restaurant, it’s a brand, and experience, something that will enrich all that visits the restaurant. We are fortunate to be a busy restaurant, but we push ourselves every day to see how we can do it better than the day before. The Foundry Corner of Prestwich and Cardiff Street Green Point Directions The entrance to Beluga is off the Foundry Courtyard which you enter from Prestwich Str. which is behind the Victoria Junction complex. There is no entry from the street. The building is under 24 hr security surveillance and security guards will gladly escort you to your vehicle if you so desire. Parking at Beluga is really easy. Simply park in the Parking Garage at the end of Cardiff Str. and walk through the building into the Courtyard. |
