Description: The Silver Tree Restaurant, situated in the beautiful Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens is the perfect location for events of all varieties. Our venue is suitable for events of a smaller nature, such as team building, incentive meals and intimate birthday parties. It is also the ultimate place for large corporate functions, weddings, matric dances and big birthday celebrations. We pride ourselves on being a lovely venue in which to hold private functions. We are equipped to host unforgettable weddings, magical birthday celebrations suitable for young and old, as well as memorable matric dances. Our restaurant looks out onto the Eastern slopes of Table Mountain, a picturesque and tranquil view that is sure to set a relaxed mood conducive to both romance and celebration. The Silvertree Restaurant is a breathtaking venue in summer with our floor-to-ceiling glass doors looking out into the beautiful Garden. Winter occasions are cozy and intimate when use of our very large fireplace, making the entire venue glow with warmth. For a less formal get-together, we offer a selection of picnic hampers, which can be conveniently pre-ordered and enjoyed in the sunshine on the Garden's lawns. For the functions inside The Silvertree Restaurant, we offer a set menu (for 20 people or more) and a buffet menu (for 30 people or more). These menus must be selected and confirmed in advance with our Banqueting Department.
