Description: Confidently lazing on the edge of Africa, Pepenero is one of the most impressive restaurant locations in the city. Perfectly located close to the heart of Cape Town, yet right on the Atlantic beach front, Pepenero is urban glamour with an ocean twist. Pepenero, meaning black pepper, refers to the spice we add to both the social and culinary scene. Our chef Natasja prepares based on variety and simplicity: whether its fresh oysters, sushi, champagne and cocktails on the terrace, or treating our lunch and dinner guests to seafood platters, aged rump, Italian style pastas and sumptuous salads rounded off with a range of decadent dessert. All Pepenero meals can be complimented with wines and champagnes selected from an award winning list served in Riedel glassware. The 280 seater restaurant which wraps the front and side of the Two Oceans Beach building in Mouille Point offers diners uninterrupted views of the Atlantic ocean and Robben Island from laid back and comfortable bench seating on the terrace as well as from the interior thanks to an impressive 80m span of wraparound glass shop front. Pepenero offers patrons a relaxed, lush environment where traditional food is cooked on the beach front and served by attentive, well-trained staff. No. 1 Two Oceans Beach/Bay Road Mouille Point Cape Town Directions From the Southern Suburbs: Get onto the M3 North into Cape Town. The Highway ends at the Waterfront intersection. Cross over this intersection and follow Buitengracht St to the next traffic light where you will turn right into Evard/Western Blvd. Follow Evard/Western Blvd around the traffic circle, at the next set of traffic lights turn right into Beach Rd. Follow Beach Rd past the Lighthouse on your left. You will see Pepenero on the 1st Floor of the Two Oceans Beach complex on the corner of Bay road and Beach Rd. This is directly opposite Newport Deli and Wakame Restaurant. From Camps Bay and City Bowl Get onto Upper Kloof St which leads down into Town onto Buitengracht St. Follow Buitengracht St down toward the M3 BUT turn left into Evard/Western Blvd one set of traffic lights before the Waterfront intersection. Follow Evard/Western Blvd around the traffic circle, at the next set of traffic lights turn right into Beach Rd. Follow Beach Rd past the Lighthouse on your left. |
