Comments: On September 9th, 2011 I came to Melissa’s in Newlands after a hectic day and had a coffee with a friends. Unknowingly, I had left my professional camera under the table. For almost 2 weeks I searched for it and finally I gave up hope that I had lost it or it was stolen. But my husband reminded me that it could have been left at Melissas.

Not having any hope of it being there, I called the store and after a brief investigation, the manageress told me my camera was safe and waiting for me to collect it. This camera is my livelihood. I was in tears and humbled by the honesty and integrity of the waitress and managers to keep the camera safe. My whole life depends on the work I do and without my camera I would have suffered greatly. So thank you from the bottom of my heart to every member of your staff who spared me this loss.

The brand of Melissas has risen in my heart. Not only through the high quality of food but through the honesty and trustworthiness and just pure goodness of the people that work in this store. To the owners of the shop – be proud of these ambassadors you employ because they gave more than just great service.
