Description:
We are a well established restaurant situated in the heart of bohemian Observatory. This house was completed in the early 1900's so we felt it only fitting that, a century later, we return it to it's former glory and present a Victorian Quaffery.

Every aspect, from the decor to the menu, is influenced by this magestic era. The restaurant was established in 1994 and we have been the Proprietors since 1998. When we took over, we asked the staff if they would stay with us and continue this wonderful journey and we are proud to say that they are still with us and enjoy every moment.

The comfort provided by the staff and the setting offer a warm, friendly and relaxed environment in which to pass a few hours. With there being two dining rooms, a lounge and a pub, you can sit down and have dinner, or relax next to the fire, or meet new people in the pub. Arriving on your own is nothing to fear as you will soon be in a conversation with some interesting people.

We do hope that we can have the pleasure of meeting you and your guests in the near future.

A place for a good quaff, 20 Jun 2011
Reviewer: anonymous (Adventurousness: What is the chef's special today?)

Comments: Entertainment (live music) on Sundays and Thursdays (Irish). Food is great, though portions on some might be a little small (if you are used to American portions that is). Vegetarian options available as well as meaty favorites and African meats. Desserts are great as well. Have not had a bad meal there yet and I go often. The service is wonderful with unique (eccentric) servers who are just lovely.
