Cuisine: Italian , Seafood
Ambiance: Bustling
Main course (avg): R170
Licensed: yes

Open: Breakfast , Lunch , Dinner
Open daily for Lunch and Dinner.

Description:
Great patio, great food, great wine! This Cape Town 'institution' opened in the 1960s in Cape Town's CBD and moved to its current location in 1969.

Large sliding windows, horizontal beams, ceiling panels and '70s lights now have retro appeal; carved chairs and tasselled Italian upholstery have also survived. Orange is a feature colour, with specks dotted inside and out.

Good Italian Foood & Sevice but you pay for it, 03 Jan 2011
Reviewer: anonymous (Adventurousness: I'll order it as per the menu.)

Comments: Really good Italian and seafood with great service but it’s not a cheap night out. Had an amazing thinly sliced beef main dish (can't remember the name sorry) which was one of my best meals in the past 12 months. Cocktails on the terrace while the sun sets is a pre-dinner must. Recommended for a special night out.
