Description: Welcome to News Cafe where you'll find a fantastic selection of food and drinks and an atmosphere to match. We play your kind of music and attract your kind of people, making this the place to be - and be seen. The first News Cafe opened its doors in 1995, and from the very beginning, it was much more than just an outlet for food and drink. The five founders of the News Cafe brand had a wealth of experience and qualifications in the food and beverage industry, which they brought to their new venture along with endless enthusiasm. They knew that the creation of a winning brand was paramount and together, they provided the impetus for a unique new concept. News Cafe wasn't going to be just another place to go for a drink or a meal. Instead, it was to be a lifestyle. Their thinking clearly struck a chord with the South African public and over the last 13 years, News Cafe has continued to go from strength to strength. Today, we're a rapidly growing international brand and a winner of many awards in the food, beverage and service sector. The News Café in Table View is unique with its unparalleled view of Table Mountain. As the sun slowly sets and turns the sky orange and then red, Capetonians gather for sundowners and sample News Café’s awesome range of cocktails as they gaze over the Atlantic Ocean to the darkening silhouette of Cape Town’s most famous landmark. A top class team and food to match, News Café Table View really is the place to be and the place to be seen |
