Description:
Our name is Belgian, our ambience international and our setting spectacular. You'll find us on the quayside of Cape Town's Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, where the Atlantic ocean meets the mother city. Here gulls swoop, seals bask in the sun, and passing yachts enhance the view.

Take an umbrella shaded table on our terrace, at the African Queen bar, or in our streamlined interior, where wall-to-wall windows make the most of the picture- postcard backdrop of Table Mountain.

Described by restaurant critics as 'one of the Waterfront's most popular pioneers' we're now celebrating our 12th anniversary, proud of the accolades for food and mood we've received over the last decade.

Enjoy the friendly ambience. Our serving staff (judged tops in the Waterfront) is attentive and smiling. Menus revolve round fresh, seasonal dishes like just-caught crayfish or herring flown in from Europe. Specialities range from generous pots of mussels and frites to traditional South African fare; gourmet temptations from foie gras brulee to velvet-smooth chocolates from a top Belgian chocolatier.

Our beer is Belgian - both top brands and best-selling Anker beer, brewed exclusively for us, are served on tap. Our winelist won gold in the '06 Diners Club International Winelist of the Year Awards, and our house wine is from an award-winning local winery.

Come relax an unwind with us. There's no pressure, no rush. We care.

A little Disappointing but I would go again, 05 Jan 2012
Reviewer: Lucrecia (Adventurousness: Hold the garnish, hold the sauce!)

Comments: The ambiance was amazing and the service was great, but alas I selected the wrong dish. I had the prawns which were semi cooked. Everyone else' s dishes were wonderful. The beef fillet - medium rare, grilled to perfection and the muscles were wonderful!

I would go again - just don't order the prawns.

Stunning, 22 Nov 2011
Reviewer: anonymous (Adventurousness: I'll order it as per the menu.)

Comments: On Saturday, my fiance and I visited the Restaurant to celebrate his birthday. The weather was great, the atmosphere was brilliant. It was our second visit and we were seated at the exact same table...definitely a good omen. He had the Rabbit and I had the Duck. It was so delicious.
