Restaurant description

The Eatery Woodfired Grill brings a fresh new dining experience to South Africans. The owner's aim is to create a local restaurant where you will be warmly welcomed time and again and enjoy great food and great value. You can save on alcohol as the restaurant is fully unlicensed. This means we run a BYOB policy. Bring along your favourite bottle of wine or beer and don't take a gamble on a limited wine list or menu or selected beverages.

What's more, we'll never charge a corkage fee, so you really can save on a great time out! Step into The Eatery Grill and be transported back to the bygone days of simple, good food from an open wood fire. You'll feel right at home as you tuck into delicious, fresh food prepared just the way you like it.

There was an excellent choice of dishes on the menu, in fact it was so good we had difficulty choosing what to have. The calamari starter was excellent and so was the main course of sirloin steak and chips. I couldn't fault it. The food was served on hot plates (always a winner) and the service was quick. We will definitely add this to our short liat of favourite local regular restaurants!"
